We are Born Equal are words that mean ‘we are born the same’ whether it is women or men. The concept of this movement brings us to the collection of spring/summer 2020 to show equality between gender, caste, religion, race, culture, education, equality of rights for employment, body shaming and disability. With this movement we can be free to express ourselves and be accepted by many people. Although there are still many other people who do not agree with this movement. The concept starts from the Encim Batik symbols which are a blend of two countries namely China and the Netherlands, where the ‘buketan’ motif from the Netherlands symbolizes ‘equality’. Which is similar to the symbol of hippie Movement.
